Vintage Religious Medals

Old vintage religious Our Lady of Scherpenheuvel medal with Sacred Heart on the back - measures approximately 7/8ths of an inch tall with the bail. This is a souvenir medal of Our Lady of Scherpenheuvel in Scherpenheuvel-Zichem, Belgium. This is an old medal, and could use a little gentle cleaning on the back. This basilica is said to be the most frequently visited pilgrimage site in Belgium.

An old vintage marked Penin A Lyon (Ludovic a Penin - a French Medalist based in Lyon born 1830-1868 died who received the title of Pontifical Engraver in 1864 by Pope Pius IX) French Virgin Mary & St Anthony medal. I believe this is a pilgrimage medal to Miribel Des Echelles in France. This is a beautiful medal- that measures approximately 1 & 1/4 inches tall without the bail. This medal has not been cleaned or polished.
