Very large old vintage French religious Lourdes medal- marked AUGIS. ED. and L. Lasserre. This is a beautiful medal that measures approximately 1 & 11/16ths inches tall without the bail. With the bail is approximately 2 inches tall.

Antique French Pray-Le-Monial religious medal. The front says in French Voilà ce Cœur qui a tant aimé les hommes. Which translates to Behold this is the heart which has so loved men. The back has a date of 1675 which denotes The Great Apparition of 1675. Je bénirai les maisons où l'image de mon Coeuur sera exposée et honorée. (I will bless the houses where the image of my heart will be exposed and honored). Les âmes tièdes deviendront ferventes. (The warm souls will become fervent.) Antique Old Vintage Religious medal of Our Lady of Divine Providence- the front says Honorificentia Popvli Nostri- which means You are the Honor of Our People. The back says VI ID DEC MDCCCLIIII DIES QVAM FECIT DOMINVS EXVLTEMVS ET LAETEMVR IN EA It is also signed B ZACCAGNINI F. or BONFIGLIO ZACCAGNINI (1793-1867). There is a reference to this medal in the British Museum Collection online- the medal is brass and was acquired in their collection in 1890- the medal is dated to 1854.
