Vintage Religious Medals

As found condition reliquary cross with relics- it does have age related wear to metal as shown on back. The screw seems to work well and is secure. It appears that the relics are present and I have not fiddled with it to check. The relics are marked St Aloysius - Elizabeth - Agnus Dei. This cross measures approximately 2 & 1/8ths inches tall from top bail to bottom of screw when screwed in as shown in the second picture.

Beautiful religious medal for Saint Dymphna - the medal measures approximately 1 inches tall including the bail and is made of aluminum. The back has the Doxology. The Latin text whcih is on the medal, Gloria Patri, et Filio, et Spiritui Sancto. Translated- Glory [be] to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost. Saint Dymphna is the patron saint of mental disorders, neurological disorders, runaways, and victims of incest.

Vintage religious medal marked Germany of St Odilia and St Anthony medal. This medal measures approximately 1 & 7/16ths inches tall including the bail. The medal is made of aluminum. St Odilia is the patron saint of the blind or partially sighted and Alsace, France. St Anthony is the patron saint for lost articles, and is credited with many miracles involving lost people and lost personal items.

 Beautiful vintage religious aluminum medal of Sweet Heart of Jesus with Saint Rita of Cascia. This medal measures approximately about 7/8ths inches tall with the bail and is made of aluminum. the medal is signed F. Koch. Saint Rita is the patron saint of lost and impossible causes, sickness, wounds, marital problems, abuse, mothers, and widows.

Beautiful vintage marked sterling religious medal of St Peregrine Laziosi - measures approximately 1 & 1/8ths of an inch tall with the bail. St Peregrine is the patron saint of cancer patients.
