Vintage Religious Medals

Beautiful old vintage Bakelite Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary Crucifix with stanhope viewers. Not only is there one stanhope- there are seven on this crucifix. All of the pictures are viewable- however there is some crazing to the 5th Sorrow picture the Crucifixion. It is viewable but there is some damage to this picture. This crucifix measures 1 & 7/8ths inches tall. The Seven Sorrows are: 1) Prophecy of Simeon 2) Flight into Egypt 3) Loss of Jesus in the Temple 4) Mary meeting Jesus carrying his cross 5) Crucifixion 6) Mary receives the Body of her son Jesus from the Cross 7) Body placed in tomb - taken from Wikipedia A stanhope is a miniature or microscopic lens used in order to view a larger picture. Many stanhopes are set in charms or pendants.

Vintage religious Bishop's mitre and crosier medal - marked sterling on the back. This medal measures approximately 1 inch tall with the bail.

Vintage marked sterling religious Virgin Mary medal - measures approximately 1 & 3/8ths of an inch tall with the bail. The medal says on the front Immaculate Mother of God Make Us Worthy in Thought Word and Deed.

Vintage religious medal of Our Lady of Sallette. The back is marked Antaya and says La Salette Enfield NH. This medal measures approximately 13/16ths of an inch tall.

Beautiful sterling religious miraculous slide locket medal - measures approximately 13/16ths inches tall with the bail. It is marked sterling on the back of both slides and is a two way medal. It features a miraculous medal and a scapular medal of Sacred Heart and Our Lady of Mt Carmel on the back.
